Born from an Australian partnership, built for Vietnam's future
Our Story
Australian technology. Vietnamese mission.
ARC-V brings a decade of proven Australian waste-to-resource innovation to one of Southeast Asia's most urgent environmental challenges.
After 15 years of international research across seven countries, Dr. Thien Ngo returned to Vietnam and saw the scale of the waste crisis firsthand. 75,000 tonnes of municipal solid waste generated every day, with less than 15% recycled. The rest buried or burned.
He explored every available solution. While there were innovations in waste management, each could only solve a portion of the problem. Composting could handle food waste but left plastics untouched. Incineration could process mixed waste but produced dioxins, heavy metals, and CO2. Recycling addressed a fraction of the stream but ignored the rest. Residual waste still ended up in landfills or was incinerated, perpetuating the very crisis they were meant to solve. Every solution left something behind.
Then he found ARC in Australia. The ARC Process, developed and patented by ARC Ento Tech Ltd, converts all streams of municipal solid waste into commercial products. Truly no landfill. No incineration. No emissions. It was the complete system he had been searching for.
That discovery became ARC-V. Starting with a 5 TPD pilot facility in 2026, supported by University Bach Khoa Hanoi, Saigon High Tech Park, and Australian industrial partners, ARC-V is on a path to national scale of 3,000+ TPD across multiple provinces.
